A teacher aspires to teach in a manner and at a level which is in accordance with the school’s published “Principles of professional practise for teachers at Taylor’s International School”
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach ICT including if possible IGCSE ICT, to a range of year groups in the School.
Plan and prepare programmes of study, schemes of work, and lesson plans as required for the courses the teacher is responsible for.
Teach with consistent effectiveness the students in her/his classes, taking full account of all students’ individual educational needs.
Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media that is consistent with the physical limitations, needs, and capabilities of individual students and/or groups of students.
Promote the intellectual, moral, cultural, physical and personal abilities and aptitudes of the students in her/his classes and provide guidance and advice to students on educational and relevant social and other matters.
Support school activities and functions.
Participate in meetings which relate to curriculum matters or the administration or organisation of the school, including pastoral elements.
Work with other members of the physical education staff to plan instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
Carry out particular professional duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Principal.
Being part of a small team of teachers to ensure the very best planning, teaching and learning is taking place for all our students.
Staying abreast of developments in private education in general and international education in particular
Managing student behaviour in the classroom and on school premises, and applying appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehaviour.
Motivating students with enthusiastic, interactive presentation.
Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive students' development.
Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of students' development.
Communicating with parents over students' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' meeting and whole school training events.
Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
Organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening.
This is a Fixed term position, available for hiring at the moment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in IT/ICT/Computer Science/Mutimedia or a related field.
Preferably with Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
At least 2 years of teaching experience in a school environment and preferably IGCSE Syllabus.
Most recent experience from an International School is preferred.
This is a fixed term position available for join immediately. Candidates who are able to start immedialtely is an added advantage.
