After this I go to English to teach my Year Seven class. I use the next period to meet with the Learning Area Leader for Humanities to see how I can support the new Global Perspectives curriculum. Having had this meeting I follow up by researching the existing collection and identify some additions to this that would support the learners. I complete the purchase requests and share them with the Teacher Librarian (Primary) for approval. I then restock some of the collections with returned books. During lunchtime I help some of the IB Diploma learners organise their references for their extended essay and remind them of the importance of academic integrity. During the afternoon I support some reading circles and help some learners select new fiction books to read. After school I help some learners research their service project and direct some IGCSE learners to the online resources we have to support them.
