A. JOB PURPOSE
This is a hands-on position whose duties include assisting with repairing, maintaining, programming, calibrating and installing theatre equipment to ensure proper theatre operations. In addition, activities related to theatre activities related to maintaining the physical facilities in good working order. To carry out numerous jobs mainly for theatre general maintenance, programming, logistics
B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Theatre Management
- Experience in handling Midas digital sound system
- Experience in handling and programming the Avolites Tiger Touch lighting system
- Standby for internal and external event (including weekend)
- Standby and assist event outside the school (case to case basis)
- Experience in handling multi projection
- Theatre fixtures and fittings maintenance
- Experience in video recording and basic editing
- Coordinate any logistic or venue arrangement required by internal and external customers.
- Regularly check email ticket and Google Calendars on any theatre events
- Maintain and manage equipment asset inventory listing
- Manage and assist an outsources vendor (theatre related)
- Assist Facilities Manager to identify and resolution of potential health & safety hazards.
- Assist project related to theatre
- Ensure high standards of theatre cleanliness are maintained
Facilities Request
To carry out facilities maintenance related work include
- Respond effectively to all queries and complaints received.
- Monitor any active tickets, work orders and scheduled plan preventive maintenance (PPM)
- To raise any relevant purchase requests required for the purchase of theatre related goods or services, in compliance with CPD policies and approval from management
Others
- Support and assist FM department related work when there is no theatre booking
- Any other tasks that may be assigned by FM Manager or school’s management from time to time.
- Attend to any ad-hoc tasks required by the superior from time to time
C. JOB REQUIREMENT
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Certificate in IT, electronic, mechatronic, electrical or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in the related field is required for this position
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with excellent communication skills
- Computer literate skills (Microsoft office, imovie / premiere pro)
- Good team player and excellent problem-solving skill.
