Intern
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our HR team at our international school in Putrajaya. This internship offers hands-on experience across key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and expatriate administration, providing valuable exposure to the employee lifecycle in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Assist with posting vacancies on recruitment platforms and the school's careers channels.
- Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
- Support interview logistics and candidate communications.
- Assist with reference checks, safeguarding documentation and recruitment filing.
- Maintain recruitment records and support talent acquisition activities.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Assist in coordinating onboarding programmes for new employees.
- Prepare onboarding documentation, welcome packs and orientation materials.
- Support induction activities to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
HR Administration
- Maintain employee records and personnel files.
- Perform HR data entry, filing and general HR administrative support.
Expatriate Administration
- Support the administration of employment passes, dependent passes and other immigration-related documentation.
- Participate in reviewing and proposing process improvements to enhance expatriate administration and document management.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, resourceful and eager to learn.
- High level of professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
