About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Bahasa Melayu Teacher to join our Primary team on a 3-month temporary contract. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Bahasa Melayu lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and support students in achieving their academic potential.

What You Will Do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Bahasa Melayu lessons that cater to students with diverse learning needs.

• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and teaching resources aligned with the curriculum.

• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love for learning.

• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement.

• Assess, monitor, and report on students' academic progress and development.

• Provide guidance, pastoral care, and support to students' overall well-being.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to promote student success.

• Participate in school activities, events, meetings, and professional development initiatives as required.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Education, Bahasa Melayu, Malay Studies, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an international school environment.

• Experience teaching Bahasa Melayu at the primary level.

• Strong proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for teaching and supporting students' holistic development.

• Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional growth.
