About the Role

Taylor’s International School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Temporary Music Teacher to join our Primary team for a three-month contract. This role is to provide temporary cover during Term 3. We are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging Music lessons, foster creativity, and contribute positively to our vibrant school community.

What You Will Do

• Deliver engaging and effective Music lessons tailored to meet students' diverse learning needs.
• Plan and prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching resources.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement.
• Provide guidance, support, and pastoral care to promote students' well-being.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning practices.
• Contribute to school events, performances, and other co-curricular activities where appropriate.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Education, Music, Music Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school environment.
• Experience teaching Music at the primary level.
• Experience in an international school setting will be an added advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for music education and inspiring young learners.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and able to thrive in a short-term teaching role.
