What You Will Do

• Deliver engaging and effective Mandarin (Second Language) lessons to Secondary students, differentiated to meet a range of learning needs and proficiency levels.

• Plan and prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching materials aligned with the IGCSE curriculum.

• Integrate technology and innovative methods to enhance teaching and learning.

• Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school assessment policies, providing clear feedback to support improvement.

• Provide guidance, support, and pastoral care to ensure students’ well-being.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning.

• Contribute to school events, activities, and the wider school community.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Education (or related field).

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school environment.

• Experience in an international school setting is an advantage.

• Experience teaching Mandarin as a Second Language and/or familiarity with IGCSE Mandarin or equivalent curriculum is highly desirable.

• High proficiency in Mandarin with strong communication.

• Excellent English communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities, with adaptability and a passion for education.
