We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Secondary English and Drama Teacher with EAL Support to join our dynamic team.

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Secondary English and Drama Teacher to join our thriving international school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and adaptable educator who can inspire young people through literature and performance, while also supporting students for whom English is an additional language.
 
The successful candidate will:
  • Teach English across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to deliver strong outcomes at IGCSE level.
  • Deliver Drama lessons that develop students’ creativity, confidence, and performance skills, including opportunities to lead extra-curricular productions, clubs, or events.
  • Provide targeted support for EAL learners, both within English/Drama lessons and across the wider curriculum, ensuring that all students can access learning and thrive.
  • Contribute to the development of engaging, innovative curricula and assessments in English and Drama.
  • Play a full part in the life of our busy school, including extra-curricular activities, trips, and whole-school events.
We are looking for someone who has:
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A degree in English, Drama, or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level, with a proven record at IGCSE (or equivalent).
  • A genuine interest and/or experience in supporting EAL learners.
  • Energy, creativity, and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
