JOB PURPOSE

The Digital Content Executive drives the creation of impactful digital and social content that brings the TISPC brand to life. This role combines creative expertise and strategic insight to produce high-impact short videos and dynamic social content that capture attention, spark conversation, and reflect the evolving culture of our audience. This role defines the creative voice of our social channels and turn ideas into content that people want to watch, share, and remember.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Conceptualise, plan, and produce high-quality digital content (short-form video, photography, graphics, copy) for platforms such as Meta, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn for paid and organic posts.
  • Film, edit, and deliver engaging short-form videos optimised for each platform’s best practices and audience behaviour.
  • Develop and maintain content pillars and creative narratives that express the TISPC brand and student experience.

Channel & Calendar Management

  • Build and manage content calendars that maintain consistent posting and storytelling flow across channels.
  • Maintain brand tone and visual identity across all digital touchpoints.

Collaboration & Coverage

  • Work closely with the school’s Media Coordinators to ensure ongoing coverage of school events, classroom experiences and community stories.
  • Capture authentic school moments that highlight students’ daily life, achievements, and values.

Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor platform trends, cultural moments and new formats to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Track and analyse content performance and advertising results; iterate and refine creative posts based on data-driven insights.

Event & Campaign Support

  • Support planning, content development and live coverage for TISPC outreach events such as Open Days, Open Weeks and community engagements.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Film Production, Multimedia Design, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience with a strong content portfolio.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in social media creation, digital marketing, and preferably in an education institution.

 

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)

  • Strong expertise in video production, including filming and editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut).
  • Proven ability to create content that drives engagement and resonates with audiences.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and current trends.
  • Strong writing skills with a knack for crafting compelling captions and scripts.
  • Experience with photography and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Pleasant personality, positive work attitude, action and results oriented.
  • Highly motivated, people oriented and the ability to work independently.
  • Planning, organizing, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • An excellent written and verbal communication skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must. Mandarin proficiency will be a strong added advantage.
