Marketing & Communications Executive

The Marketing & Communications Executive is responsible to support the marketing functions in the area of internal and external communication and help in the execution of marketing plans and strategies. 



External Marketing & Communications 

  1. Identifying opportunities for promotions and partnerships in the expatriate and local community

  2. Drive leads through social media and digital campaigns and works with agencies to plan, create, execute, monitor and optimise all campaigns

  3. Manage social media channels and utilise a range of techniques including SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, etc 

  4. Monitor and prepare monthly/ad hoc report on social media engagement and promotional effectiveness using evaluation measurement  tools/reports

  5. To be responsible for coordinating and implementing all public relations/marketing events such as launching, opening ceremony, press conferences, talks, and sponsorship activities, ensuring maximum media coverage and exposure 

  6. Handle media relations, including developing content and articles, writing press releases, scripts and invites, conducting interviews for stories, radio advertising and monitoring the media articles

  7. Handle content writing for marketing collaterals, digital campaigns, website, articles, promotional materials, EDM and others

  8. Assist in education fairs, open days, promotional and other events

  9. Attend networking sessions and external events when necessary


Internal Marketing & Communications 

  1. Handle internal communications with parents, students, and staff by developing content for newsletters, handbooks, and other communication channels.

  2. Prepare and help to manage marketing activities during internal events when necessary

  3. Manage and track alumni database, maintain the relationship with alumni through social media and EDM, coordinate activities for the alumni and share and promote alumni stories to the AISM community



  1. Assist the Marketing & Communications Manager in the execution of the annual Marketing Plan and activation of marketing activities in accordance with the marketing calendar and activity plans

  2. Conduct marketing research relevant to the department’s needs as and when required

  3. Keep track of marketing expenses and report to Manager on a monthly basis to ensure proper tracking of social media advertising budget 

  4. Maintain and update a database of corporate partners, media and other organisations

  5. Compile necessary reports and KPI analysis for the department/Manager





  1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Marketing or equivalent.



  1. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably in an educational institution



  1. Knowledge and skills in using computer software e.g. Google Workspace/Microsoft software applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

  2. In-depth knowledge of digital marketing platform eg. Social Media, Website, SEO, Google Analytics etc.

  3. Excellent writing skills

  4. Ability to work with minimal supervision

  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate comfortably with students and parents in a courteous and professional manner

  6. Creative, resourceful, customer-focused, self-motivated and results-oriented

  7. Spoken and written English is used for all School communications and as such high standards of English communication skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening are required to be successful in this position
