The Role

 

Reporting directly to the Chairman’s Office, this strategic role leads and oversees high-impact, company-wide initiatives—particularly those focused on digital transformation, operational efficiency, and cross-functional improvements. The position serves as a strategic partner to the Chairman and leadership team, translating organizational priorities into executable plans. It plays a critical role in aligning institutional efforts across functions to ensure successful delivery of strategic goals.

 

 Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Project Leadership

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, cross-functional strategic projects. Ensure alignment with institutional priorities and drive initiatives from concept to completion within time, scope, and budget.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with academic units, administration, finance, IT, and external partners. Foster alignment across departments to ensure smooth project delivery and operational impact.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the primary liaison between the Chairman’s Office, senior leadership, external vendors, and internal teams. Manage communication, expectations, and engagement throughout the project lifecycle. Deliver high-level presentations and updates to executive and board stakeholders.

 

Performance Monitoring

Establish KPIs and success metrics. Regularly track and report on progress using digital dashboards. Identify and resolve variances to keep projects on track.

 

Risk & Change Management

Proactively identify and manage risks. Develop contingency and mitigation plans. Manage change requests and scope adjustments through structured governance processes.

 

Project Governance & Reporting

Facilitate project governance frameworks, steering committees, and progress reviews to ensure accountability and transparency.

 

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Education, or related field (Master’s degree such as MBA preferred)
  • 8–10+ years of experience managing complex strategic and transformation projects, ideally within the education sector or similar large organizations
  • Proven track record in digital transformation, operations optimization, and enterprise-level program delivery
  • Experience working directly with senior executives and/or board-level stakeholders
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), or equivalent certifications preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
