Senior Research Fellow - Education
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute towards the development of research reports and publications, preparing papers and presenting research progress and outcomes of research projects based on the supervision’s output
- Participate in selected school activities that involves your students and your expertise
- Support and advise in research projects, preparation of proposals and applications to external bodies.
- Evaluate students proposal and thesis and participate in the thesis examination committee.
- Develop new ideas for research in collaboration with faculty members and external parties.
MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Applicants must have a PhD and expertise in the field of Education. The applicant must have supervised at least 3 PhD students in Social Science successfully to its completion. The applicant must demonstrate competency as a researcher and possess the interpersonal skill to facilitate supervising a diverse student population.
RELATED EXPERIENCE
More than 7 years of experience post-PhD in a directly relevant position, with evidence of leadership and supervisory capability. Strong record of publication in high-quality journals e.g. journal titles in the top 50% within the discipline domain (Clarivate/Scopus). Record of postgraduate supervision of research students, evidence of competitive grants won, especially from international funding agencies and industry.
