Senior Executive -Quality Management

JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Executive supports the Manager – Quality Management and Head – Quality Assurance & Accreditation (QAA) in implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality management processes across Taylor’s. This role is critical in ensuring the institution meets regulatory standards, maintains accreditation status, and continuously improves through systematic quality initiatives.
The incumbent plays an integral part in the day-to-day operations of the QAA unit, with particular focus on matters related to the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 9001:2015 certification, and institutional audits and ratings such as SETARA, MyQUEST, ISO 9001 QMS certification and maintenance of self-accreditation and conventional accreditation status for Taylor’s. The role also provides comprehensive operational and administrative support to faculties, departments, students, and other stakeholders.
KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Quality Management System (QMS) & ISO 9001:2015
• Support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Taylor’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Liaise with the certification body and Standards Malaysia on audit schedules, documentation, and compliance matters.
• Assist in coordinating internal and external audits, including documentation, follow-ups, and preparation of audit reports.
• Maintain and update quality manuals, SOPs, forms, and records to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Track and report non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and quality performance metrics.
2. Institutional Quality Assurance & Accreditation
• Keep abreast of Guidelines to Good Practices (GGP) and quality assurance policies issued by MQA and other regulatory bodies.
• Assist in the data collection, analysis, and reporting of data for institutional audits and quality rankings such as SETARA, MyQUEST, and internal reviews.
• Contribute to policy development and enhancement related to quality assurance and accreditation.
3. Academic & System Administration
• Accurately set up academic modules in the Course Management System (CMS) by intake/semester for enrolment and OMR processes.
• Verify module enrolments and maintain integrity of academic data on a semester basis.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and data retrieval through the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
4. Operational & Stakeholder Support
• Provide operational support to the Quality Assurance & Accreditation unit in fulfilling its institutional responsibilities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including faculties, academic services, and student support units.
• Undertake additional duties and special assignments as directed by the Manager or Head – Quality Assurance & Accreditation.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
RELATED EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in the higher education sector.
