Senior Executive - International Office

The Senior Executive, International Office is responsible for managing matters pertinent to international student welfare.

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage matters related to airport pick-up for international students
    • To monitor the arrival trackers daily.
    • To liaise with vendors/internal stakeholders on pick-up arrangements/transport.
    • To liaise with EMGS ISAC on documentations needed for TC students (clearance).
    • To rectify new students’ special passes upon arrival, if there are errors.
    • To clear/pick-up international students from Subang airport.
    • To check vendors’ pick-up claims and send for verification.

2.   Assist in student reporting

  • To prepare goodie bags (gifts and all relevant reporting forms).
  • To assist students in completing all paperwork during reporting.
  • To ensure students fill all the relevant forms (EMGS/Immigration/Clinic/IO) correctly.
  • To provide excellent customer service to students/parents and relevant stakeholders.
  • To guide students in medical screening, and subsequently reporting to IO.
  1. Assist in event managements
  • To contact students and PICs for various events.
  • To book venues and order food/refreshment for the events.
  • To compile customer survey data - to measure the satisfaction levels of customers after events.
  1. Assist in replying IO emails
  • To help attend to email replies within 24 hours.
  1. Cover other team members in various tasks in their absences
  • IKADs and medical cards – renewals, claims, key-in to STARS and CMS.
  • Request for refund of excess insurance premium from the EMGS.
  1. Dependent pass applications
  • Guide students in the applications.
  • Check and ensure all documents are good to be submitted via EMGS STARS.
  • Follow through applications until they are approved.
  1. Special tasks and meetings
  • To attend to task(s) and meeting(s) assigned, even at ad hoc basis

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in business-related discipline.

 

RELATED EXPERIENCE

 Preferably 2 to 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in an educational institution with  involvement in student visa or International Office-related matters.
