Senior Executive - International Office

The Senior Executive of the International Office plays a key role in supporting the university’s international student community by managing new international student reporting, providing accurate visa advice, coordinating communication with the International Office, and organizing orientation programs. This role also involves conducting briefings for new parents to ensure a smooth transition and positive experience for international students and their families.

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage the reporting and registration process for new international students in compliance with university and regulatory requirements.
  2. Provide timely and accurate advice regarding student visa matters and related immigration regulations.
  3. Respond promptly and professionally to emails and inquiries directed to the International Office.
  4. Organize and coordinate orientation programs for new international students, ensuring they receive essential information and support upon arrival.
  5. Conduct briefing sessions for parents of new international students to address their concerns and provide guidance on university policies and student welfare.
  6. Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to facilitate smooth admission and onboarding processes for international students.
  7. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to international student enrollment and visa compliance.
  8. Stay updated on relevant immigration policies, university procedures, and best practices to provide informed guidance.
  9. Assist IO Counter as and when required.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in business-related discipline.

 

 

RELATED EXPERIENCE

Preferably 2 to 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in an educational institution with  involvement in student visa or International Office-related matters.
