Senior Executive - International Office

JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Executive, International Office is responsible for managing matters pertinent to student pass renewals including liaising with EMGS and IMSA. In addition, he/she is to provide high quality customer service for students, prospective students who approach the IO counter, as well as backend staff and stakeholders.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To support the Student Pass Renewal Team
• To monitor passport location – he/she is to record the location of passports of students in a tracker, as well as to update CMS
• To segregate submissions of passport to either EMGS or IMSA for processing such as student pass renewals, cancellations of student pass, transfers of pass
• To receive report from SDMG monthly for monitoring and updating purposes – active student (whether reminders on visa renewals needed); inactive student (whether reminders on cancellations of student pass is needed or any other actions).
2. To advise students/parents on student visa renewals, transfers of pass, cancellations of pass
• To provide overall excellent customer service in IO to students/parents and stakeholders to minimize complaints to the department.
• To aim to provide clear and accurate visa advice to all stakeholders within reasonable response time of between 1-3 working days.
3. To assist IO counter as and when required
• He /She is required to assist counter in aiding/information to students/prospective students, as and when counter is short of manpower.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in business-related discipline.
RELATED EXPERIENCE
Preferably 2 to 5 years’ work experience, preferably in an educational institution with involvement in student visa or International Office-related matters.
