Programme Executive

The Programme Executive (Temporary) will report to Taylor’s University Incubator (BizPod) Acting Director and support the planning, coordination and execution of entrepreneurship programmes and community engagement initiatives. The role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of programmes, fostering meaningful participant experiences, and supporting outreach efforts that promote awareness and participation in BizPod’s initiatives.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Programme Executive will support the growth of BizPod’s community-building efforts and contribute to a more active and vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem within the University.
KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the planning and execution of entrepreneurship programmes, workshops, bootcamps, events and startup-related activities organised by BizPod.
- Coordinate programme administration including registration, participant communication, attendance tracking and engagement follow-up.
- Provide coordination support to facilitators, mentors, speakers and stakeholders to ensure smooth programme delivery and a positive participant experience.
- Prepare programme materials, maintain programme documentation, collect feedback and support post-event follow-up to enhance programme effectiveness.
- Support outreach and engagement initiatives to increase awareness, participation and involvement in BizPod programmes and activities.
- Organise and facilitate student engagement and community-building activities for students, startups, incubatees and BizPod community members.
- Coordinate onboarding and engagement activities to encourage continued participation and strengthen community connections within BizPod.
- Support the promotion of BizPod programmes, activities, opportunities and resources through appropriate communication and engagement channels.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of entrepreneurship and community initiatives.
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned to you from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Events, Entrepreneurship, Communications or related fields.
RELATED EXPERIENCE
- 1–3 years of experience in programme coordination, entrepreneurship initiatives, student engagement, events, community activation or related areas.
- Experience supporting academic-linked programmes, startup activities, workshops, bootcamps or student development initiatives would be an advantage.
- Exposure to working in higher education, innovation, community engagement, startups, corporate or public sector environments would be beneficial.
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
- Strong programme coordination and execution skills, with the ability to support multiple activities, timelines and stakeholders concurrently.
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to interact with students, startups, mentors, speakers and university stakeholders.
- Ability to support programme delivery, including participant coordination, engagement follow-up, activity documentation and post-event reporting.
- Good understanding of student engagement, community-building and outreach approaches to drive participation in programmes and activities.
- Ability to prepare programme materials, coordinate communication content and support visibility of BizPod initiatives across relevant channels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace or equivalent productivity tools.
