Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
• Shape and enhance high-quality programmes and curriculum.
• Mentor postgraduate students and fellow academics to achieve excellence.
• Drive impactful research, secure grants, and publish in top-tier journals.
• Strengthen industry and professional linkages to create meaningful collaborations.

Requirements

• PhD in Media & Communication (or related field) with at least 8 years of academic/industry experience.
• Proven leadership experience in academia or professional practice.
• Skilled in innovative teaching methodologies and use of technology in learning. 
• Strong research track record:

• • h-index ≥ 10 (preferred)

  • Supervised ≥ 3 PhD graduates

  • ≥ 10 publications in Q1 and Q2 C.I. journals in the last 5 years

  • Secured ≥ RM150k–RM200k in research grants as PI
