Postdoctoral Fellow - Biomedical Science

Taylor’s University invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomedical Science. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality research outputs, scholarly publications, and postgraduate supervision within a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct experimental and scholarly research in Biomedical Science, aligned with assigned projects.

Assist the Principal Investigator/Head in managing research activities, including budgets, resources, and project timelines.

Contribute to the supervision of postgraduate students and the development of junior researchers’ skills.

Support the preparation of research proposals, grant applications, and reports to external bodies.
-
Prepare manuscripts for publication in indexed journals and present findings at conferences or academic forums.
Key Performance Indicators
-
Publication of at least three (3) articles annually in SCOPUS indexed journals.

Submission of an annual progress report endorsed by the Head of Research Centre/Project Leader.

Active participation in supervision and scholarly activities as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
-
PhD in Biomedical Science or a closely related discipline (awarded within the last five years).

A minimum of two (2) publications in citation-indexed journals.

Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research will be an advantage.
