RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching & Learning

• Undertake teaching and teaching related duties such as design, preparation and development of teaching materials; conduct classes/lectures, tutorials and practicals; consultation with students, invigilation, marking and assessment
• Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the University’s teaching and learning expectations.

Administration and Other Activities

• Undertake and contribute in administrative responsibilities such as attending departmental meetings, participate in committees and working groups within the Department, School and Faculty.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion Design from a recognised university or accredited fashion institution.
• Candidates who are pursuing or have obtained a PhD will be an added advantage.
• Experience working in a higher education environment, with a proven track record in teaching and curriculum development; or substantial professional industry experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and strong presentation skills.
• Experience in developing teaching methodologies and learning materials, including the effective use of IT and digital technologies to support teaching and learning.
