The Manager, International Sales Recruitment is responsible to manage the International Sales team to recruit student to Taylor’s University & Colleges. The role’s accountability is to manage the International Sales Pipeline (Lead, Opportunity, Enrolment, VAL, Arrival & Registration). That includes all Leads from all Channels.


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Grow Enrolment
• Responsible for International Sales and to also support other Regional Sales & National sales department if needed, inclusive of assisting in cross-selling of other programmes offered by Taylor’s Higher Education.
• Accountable for managing team’s performance in achieving team International Sales Target and Growth by annual and cycle. Target includes Student Registration.
• Ensure timely processing of admissions via the International Office and Office of Admissions.
• Build strong agent relationships and support agent management and recruitment.
• Participate in all enrolment-related events and activities which include Open Days, Enrolment Days and other events organized to attract potential students.
• Ensure all prospective students’ information are accurately maintained and updated in Taylor’s CRM system.
• Co - develop new market segments to grow enrolment.
• Co-develop sales/enrolment strategies with the Director and operationalize the business plans.
• Assist in developing China market especially Chinese students who are residing in Malaysia.
• Build mutually beneficial relationships with schools, language schools and other education providers, which have been identified as sources for student recruitment. Engagement may be through a variety of channels including: the provision of information and guidance, coordination of curriculum enrichment activities (guest lectures, interactive workshops etc.), and hosting inward visits to the University.


Cost Leadership
• Optimize the process efficiency and productivity of the International Sales team.
• Assist in producing relevant reports as requested by the Director.
• Formulate budgets, strategies and action plans with the Country Director for adoption in Malaysia.

Wow Student Experience
• Ensure excellent customer service are provided at all times to new prospective students and parents through all channels.
• Ensure timely responses to all enrolment-related requests by prospective students, parents and agents.
• Handle complaints and solve student problems and manage customer relationships effectively.
• Lead and implement processes for monitoring, evaluate and report on student recruitment outreach activity across the student lifecycle where appropriate.


High Performance Organization
• Manage and cultivate sales-driven culture within the team through recruitment and coaching of potential talents in collaboration with Sales Trainer.
• Manage sales strategies and business plans with the team and relevant stakeholders with clear roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure all prospective students’ information are accurately maintained and updated in Taylor’s CRM system.
• Coordinate meetings, staffing requirements and staff briefings.
• Ensure tracking and reporting are in place for activity measuring (e.g. awareness, engagement, responses, leads, sales, conversion and ROI) and using the output from this to drive efficiencies and improve effectiveness of future campaigns.

The role may be required to undertake other projects / evolve according to function’s needs or organization’s direction upon the discretion of the Director/VP.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Degree in Business Management / Marketing / International Business or other management-related discipline.


RELATED EXPERIENCE
At least seven (7) years of working experience, with two to three (2-3) years in supervisory role. Sales experience in the Educational environment is preferred.

4. Knowledge on ATL, BTL, Digital Marketing, Feeder School Marketing & Branding approaches
5. Knowledge and skills in using computer software. E.g. Microsoft software applications
6. Knowledge on market insights and research
