Key Responsibilities:

1.Strategy Development and Implementation:
Collaborate in the development and execution of a comprehensive sustainability strategy that alignswith the company’s mission, vision, and business objectives.

Stay abreast of global ESG trends, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.

2.ESG Reporting and Disclosure:
Support group’s initiative to compile relevant data for the company’s inaugural sustainability report, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GRI etc)

Develop and maintain internal metrics and PBI dashboards to monitor ESG performance and progress.

3.Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees and regulators, to communicate the company’s ESG initiatives and performance.

Serve as the primary point of contact for ESG-related inquiries and collaborations.

Establish partnerships with industry groups, NGOs, and other organizations to advance the company’s ESG goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage a carbon management dashboard.

4.Committee Leadership:
 Lead the company’s ESG committee, facilitating meetings, driving initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the overall ESG strategy.

Drive the planning and management of ESG-related events, such as the annual ESG Festival.

5. Event Management:
Plan, organize, and oversee ESG-related events, including the annual ESG Festival, ensuring successful execution and high levels of engagement.

Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event logistics, promotion, and execution.

Develop event agendas, secure speakers, and manage event budgets to deliver impactful and cost-effective events.

6. Lead Green Building Certification Process :
Oversee and coordinate all activities and projects required to achieve and maintain green building certifications (e.g. GBI, GreenRE). This includes engaging with project teams, consultants, and certifying bodies to ensure timely submission of documentation, adherence to certification criteria, and implementation of sustainable design and construction practices.

Develop and maintain tracking systems for sustainability metrics relevant to green building standards, including energy and water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and materials usage. Ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to demonstrate compliance with certification requirements and ESG goals.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability or Architecture / Urban Planning (for built environment focus)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related field, with demonstrated success in developing and implementing ESG strategies focused on Corporate Sustainability.

Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of ESG principles, regulations, and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, Green Certification).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in ESG-related software and tools is a plus.
