RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching & Learning
- Undertake teaching and teaching related duties such as design, preparation and development of teaching materials; conduct classes/lectures, tutorials and practicals; consultation with students, invigilation, marking and assessment
- Participate and contribute in high quality programme and curriculum development
- Plan and implement teaching strategies to optimise student learning as well as to motivate them
- Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the College’s teaching and learning expectations
Administration and Other Activities
- Undertake and contribute in administrative responsibilities such as attending departmental meetings, participate in committees and working groups within the Department, School and College.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities pertinent to the field.
- Maintain appropriate relevant records of students performance and provide accurate and timely information including testimonials, as and when requested.

- Participate in academic counselling during Open Days and other college promotional events.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate should possess Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. A Master’s degree in Interior Architecture is preferred.
- Industry experience in interior design, architecture, or related fields is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, materials, and construction techniques.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of current industry trends and sustainability practices in interior design.
- Experience working in the higher education environment and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and high quality of presentation skills
- Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning. Able to use software blended in the teaching is preferred.
