RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Teaching & Learning

  • Undertake teaching and teaching related duties such as design, preparation and development of teaching materials; conduct classes/lectures, tutorials and practicals; consultation with students, invigilation, marking and assessment
  • Participate and contribute in high quality programme and curriculum development
  • Plan and implement teaching strategies to optimise student learning as well as to motivate them
  • Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the College’s teaching and learning expectations

 

Administration and Other Activities

  • Undertake and contribute in administrative responsibilities such as attending departmental meetings, participate in committees and working groups within the Department, School and College.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities pertinent to the field.
  • Maintain appropriate relevant records of students performance and provide accurate and timely information including testimonials, as and when requested.

  • Participate in academic counselling during Open Days and other college promotional events.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate should possess a Master’s degree in Education or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
  • Candidates with an Education background and teaching experience in Public Speaking are highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a higher education environment with a strong track record in teaching, curriculum development, coaching, and mentoring, supported by excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in Public Speaking and Education-related modules, with the ability to facilitate effective communication, classroom engagement, critical thinking, and student-centred learning practices.
  • Experience in developing innovative teaching methodologies and learning materials, including the effective use of IT technologies to enhance teaching and learning practices.
