JOB PURPOSE

The Intern will provide support to the Impact Office team, helping them advance the university’s focus on teaching, translational research with societal impact, and global partnerships. This position is crucial for ensuring the office maintains momentum and delivers initiatives effectively.

KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES

 Global Impact Labs University Network

1. Help find similar offices at other universities to explore potential partnerships for Global Impact Labs University Network
2. Research important international conferences and events for Taylor’s Impact Labs
3. Identify international organisations and networks that Taylor’s Impact Labs could join to increase global visibility

Translational Research Support

4. Help manage Impact Project Seed Grants, including organizing documents
5. Support the review process for Impact Projects applying for external grants
6. Help find external researchers working on similar Impact Projects

Education Integration

7. Assist with data entry and analysis

Office Operations and Coordination

8. Assist in planning and organizing regular informal engagement sessions with Impact Labs Directors and Deputy Directors
9. Map out potential connection between Taylor’s University student clubs or societies with the appropriate Impact Labs
10. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

 Diploma/Degree in any field.

 Related Experience

Prior work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
