The intern will support Taylor’s Community/ Group Sustainability Office mainly by helping to develop and improve a simple internal project and time-tracking system for the team. This system is intended to help the department monitor tasks, project progress, time usage, and basic reporting.

The intern will also provide basic support for ESG Festival preparation and coordination when needed. This role is suitable for a student who has basic skills in software, systems, or app development, and is interested in using technology to support sustainability and community work.

Key Responsibilities
1. System / Software Development Support
● Assist to design and build a simple internal system for project and time tracking
● Support the development of system features based on team needs
● Help create simple dashboards, forms, or tracking pages for internal use
● Test the system and fix basic issues or bugs
● Update and improve the system based on feedback from users
● Prepare simple documentation or user guidance for the system
2. Clocktify Project Support
● Work closely with the team to understand how project tracking should work
● Help translate operational needs into simple system functions
● Organise project workflow, categories, and data structure for the system
● Support testing, feedback collection, and revision of the system
3. ESG Festival Support
● Assist with simple coordination and preparation for ESG Festival
● Help with registration, logistics, materials, or event-day support if required
● Support simple documentation or post-event updates
4. General Team Support
● Support simple administrative tasks related to the project
● Help organise files, records, and working documents

Requirements
● Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field
● Basic knowledge of system development, app development, or software building
● Able to work with simple databases, forms, or web/app development tools
● Able to understand instructions and turn them into simple technical solutions
● Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
● Responsible, organised, and able to work with a team
● Interest in sustainability, CSR, or social impact work is an added advantage

Preferred Skills
● Basic coding or system-building skills
● Familiarity with spreadsheets, dashboards, or workflow tools
● Able to explain technical work in a simple and clear way
● Willing to support both technical and non-technical tasks
