JOB PURPOSE

 

The Education Counsellor - Business Development (B2B) is responsible for his/her individual achievement of Corporate Sponsored and Partnership students recruitment target in alignment with goals and targets set at the Taylor’s University & College.

 

She /he also accountable for achievement of the team sales targets, which supports Taylor’s University & College sales targets, by supporting the department Sales Pipeline (Lead, Contact, Appointment, Visit, Enrolment and Registration) for Undergraduate and Postgraduates programmes.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Grow

Enrolment & Registration

  • Support all sales departments in achieving their National, Regional and Segment Sales Target and Growth by annual and cycle. Target includes Student Registration for Undergraduate and Postgraduates programmes.
  • Execute corporate management and relationship with new and existing clients (Government / Corporate Entities) and provide on-going support to ensure the development of client relationships.
  • Provide comprehensive advice, guidance and information, such as admissions requirements, tuition fees, scholarship and accommodation to prospective and existing students and parents of Taylor’s Higher Education.
  • Follow up with prospective students and parents for sales conversion via various channels.
  • Support enrolment-related events and activities which include Open Days, Enrolment Days and other events organized to attract prospective students.

Student Experience

  • Accountable for managing own performance in achieving team and individual sales leads generation target from Government / Corporate Entities, and other feeder channels assigned.
  • Improve brand equity and top of mind through targeted advertising, promotions and nurturing at Government / Corporate Entities, and other feeder channels assigned.
  • Ensure that excellent customer service is provided at all times to new prospective students and parents through all channels.
  • Ensure timely responses to all enrolment-related requests by prospective students and parents.

Daily Operations

  • Assist in keeping track of students’ academic results to ensure students meet sponsors requirements.
  • Assist in keeping track sponsored students’ personal file.

Cost Leadership

  • Perform outbound and inbound sales engagement while improving individual pipeline conversion, efficiency and productivity.

High Performance Organization

  • Ensure that all prospective students’ information are accurately maintained and updated in Taylor’s CRM system.

  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/ or Mandarin.

MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Degree in Business/Management/Marketing or related discipline.

 

RELATED EXPERIENCE

At least three (3) years of working experience in marketing, promotion, and public relations in a target driven sales environment.
