JOB PURPOSE

 

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager, working alongside our internal Creative Content, Digital Experience and Tech teams, will be responsible to aid the Head of Digital Marketing in the planning, leading and execution of the overall digital campaigns and digital performance results for Taylor’s University and Taylor’s College.

We are looking for a savvy, multi-disciplined Digital Marketing Manager to join our expanding Digital & Tech Department. The position also requires working directly with agencies to deliver both strategy and implementation with regards to digital marketing strategies for Taylor’s University & College.

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you should be familiar with aspects of the surrounding digital world and be innovative, inquisitive, and proactive to contribute and execute on ideas that can strengthen our brand’s position in the industry. You will also work seamlessly with the rest of the stakeholders to ensure that all online activities complement with the offline efforts.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Asset Management and Engagement

  • Managing the continuous improvement of the website, social assets, apps as well as the development of digital content and communication to enhance the customer experience and engagement.
  • Design and oversee all aspects of digital, tech and content (DTC) department including our marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Planning and managing our social media platforms and community alongside our community engagement team.
  • Explore new ways to engage and to retarget new customers / audiences on our digital assets.
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize acquisition and retention metrics.
  • Develop and execute strategies for testing new online channels.

 

Analytics, Measurements & Monitoring

  • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website and all other digital platforms.
  • Development of dashboard reporting system and program to develop integrated reporting tools.
  • Monitor and report the performance of key marketing metrics, as well as activities and events causing variances.

 

Strategy, Insights and Leadership

  • Build, plan and implement overall digital marketing strategies
  • Prepare and manage the digital marketing budget
  • Lead, supervise and motivate members of the digital experience team
  • Develops digital experience team by sharing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities
  • Identify trends, insights, and optimise spend and performance based on insights affecting our industry, channels, and communities.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
  • Instrument conversion points and optimise user funnels
  • Research competitors and provide suggestions for improvements

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualification

  • EDUCATION: Preferably BA/BS in marketing, communications, or equivalent working experience.
  • EXPERIENCE: Preferably 5 years proven experience in digital functions including (not limited to) digital strategy, content marketing, digital advertising, website strategy and deployment, user experience and architecture, agency, or consulting experience a plus

 

Related Experience

  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, SEO practices and tools, and targeting methodologies.
  • Experience with web analytics, A/B testing, and inbound marketing tactics and a knowledge base around CTAs and smart form features to optimize for lifecycle stage and progressively profile our leads. Google Analytics experience (certification a plus).
  • Extensive experience digital performance buying platforms such as Google Adwords, Facebook Power Editor, Youtube dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud or Salesforce Marketing Solutions is a plus.
  • Understanding and experience using JavaScript (jQuery, node.js, etc.), JSON, AJAX, HTML, CSS knowledge is required.
  • Understanding and exposure to cross product integration (i.e. Target-Campaign, Target-AAM, etc.) is a plus.
