Dashboarding & Analytics Intern

Taylor’s University & Taylor’s College is driving significant change in higher education through our 10-year strategic plan. The Strategy & Transformation Office serves as the Nerve Center to ensure the successful strategy development & the implementation of the strategy across the group.
We need someone who can turn messy operational data into clear, executive-level dashboards that drive decisions. If you love Power BI, data modeling, and seeing your work influence real decisions — this is for you.
JOB PURPOSE
To design and build high-impact Power BI dashboards that enable strategy tracking, performance monitoring, and executive decision-making. You will sit within the Strategy & Transformation Office and work directly with business leaders.
Your dashboards will be used by:
• Senior leadership
• Transformation sponsors
• Executive Deans & Business heads
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Stakeholder Alignment
Support team leaders in engagement with business functions to identify and align on the sets of KPI for institutional dashboard, data source & data collection process
2. Data Cleansing & Mapping
• Clean, transform, and structure messy datasets
• Map data from multiple Faculties, schools and business functions
• Ensure data integrity and consistency
3. Dashboard development & Automation
• Build Power BI dashboards with institutional KPIs
• Identify manual reporting processes and automate them
• Improve dashboard usability and performance
• Work with AI tools to accelerate reporting and data transformation
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Technical Skills
• Strong in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, relationships)
• Comfortable with Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
• Strong understanding of data cleansing and structuring
• Bonus: SQL, Python, Power Query
Mindset
• Obsessed with clarity and clean visualization
• Detail-oriented but able to see patterns
• Curious about how data connects to strategy
• Proactive — you don’t wait to be told what’s wrong
