JOB PURPOSE

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS IS A ONE YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT

 

The Analyst, Payroll & Lifecycle & Benefits Administration is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of payroll processing, employment-related data, and benefits administration. This role involves payroll execution, data verification, statutory compliance, employee support, and process improvements to enhance service delivery efficiency. The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to maintain high standards in payroll and HR operations while adhering to company policies and regulations.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Payroll Processing & Compliance
  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to statutory and company policies.
  • Validate employee payroll-related information and ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations.
  1. Payment Processing & Statutory Contributions
  • Ensure timely salary disbursement and statutory payments (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).
  • Process third-party payments such as Zakat, Tabung Haji, and PTPTN.
  1. Data Verification & Employment Records
  • Verify and validate employee data related to employment, salary, benefits, and statutory information.
  • Approve and oversee Manager Self-Service (MSS) and Employee Self-Service (ESS) transactions, ensuring data integrity.
  • Maintain organized and secure employment records in compliance with data protection regulations.
  1. Compliance & Audit Readiness
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while handling payroll and employment data.
  • Conduct audits of payroll and employee data to identify inaccuracies and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
  1. System Customization & Updates
  • Assist in managing system updates related to statutory changes, policy amendments, and HRIS enhancements.
  • Conduct functional testing in QAS and PRD environments for payroll system changes and AMS-related tickets.
  1. Employee Inquiries & Support
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, HR data, and benefits, providing accurate and timely assistance.
  • Educate employees on payroll-related policies and HR self-service tools.
  1. Collaboration & Issue Resolution
  • Work closely with HRBPs to gather information on new hires, staff movements, and terminations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payroll and employment data.
  1. Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processing and employment data administration processes.
  • Suggest and implement process optimizations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support system enhancement initiatives and automation projects.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to enhance operational efficiency.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

 

RELATED EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one year of experience in HR operations, employee data management, or HRIS administration. Fresh graduates with a strong foundation in HR systems and data management are also encouraged to apply.

 

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Strong understanding of payroll systems, statutory regulations, and tax compliance.

Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP) and payroll processing tools.

Experience in payroll reconciliation, reporting, and data management.

Strong knowledge of employment data administration and statutory compliance.
