Agile Coach and Design Thinking Lead

JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a dynamic Agile Coach and Design Thinking Lead to drive strategic transformation initiatives across the organization. This role combines the principles of agile methodology with human-centered design to accelerate innovation, enable cultural shifts, and deliver sustainable change at scale.
The incumbent will work closely with senior leaders, project teams, and functional heads to embed agile ways of working and design thinking practices, building internal capability and ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agile Coaching & Delivery
•Act as an enterprise Agile Coach for cross-functional transformation teams.
•Define, embed, and evolve agile practices across business units and teams.
•Guide squads, product or process owners, and team leads to improve velocity, adaptability, and outcome-orientation.
•Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and agile ceremonies; assess and improve team maturity.
•Champion a test-and-learn culture, breaking down large transformation ambitions into iterative, value-driven releases.
2. Design Thinking & Innovation
•Lead design sprints and innovation workshops to reimagine processes, experiences, and operating models.
•Apply ethnographic research and empathy mapping to surface user needs and pain points.
•Translate insights into actionable prototypes, MVPs, and pilot programs for validation.
•Promote user-centricity and co-creation across transformation initiatives.
As a part of the strategy implementation team, the incumbent is also expected to provide transformation program support:
•Partner with program leads, PMO, and senior stakeholders to align on OKRs, KPIs, and roadmaps.
•Track progress and feedback loops across transformation streams; adjust strategies as needed.
•Serve as an internal consultant to support business units in solving complex transformation challenges using agile and design approaches.
Required Experience & Skills
•8+ years of experience in agile coaching, transformation consulting, design thinking, or innovation roles.
•Proven track record in driving large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs.
•Deep understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean) and design thinking
principles.
•Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders from frontline to C-suite.
•Exceptional storytelling, visualization, and influencing capabilities.
•Certification(s) such as PMI-ACP, ICP-ACC, CSM, SAFe Agilist, PSM, or IDEO/Stanford d.school Design Thinking preferred.
