Agile Coach & Change Management Lead

The Agile Coach & Change Management Lead is to drive strategic transformation initiatives across the organization. This role combines the principles of agile methodology with driving people side of change to accelerate innovation, enable cultural shifts, and deliver sustainable change at scale.

The incumbent will work closely with senior leaders, project teams, and functional heads to embed agile ways of working and design thinking practices, building internal capability and ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Agile Coaching & Delivery

  • Act as an enterprise Agile Coach for cross-functional transformation teams.

  • Define, embed, and evolve agile practices across business units and teams.

  • Guide squads, product or process owners, and team leads to improve velocity, adaptability, and outcome-orientation.

  • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and agile ceremonies; assess and improve team maturity.

  • Champion a test-and-learn culture, breaking down large transformation ambitions into iterative, value-driven releases.

2.    Change Management Lead

  • Lead the development and implementation of change strategies to support initiative success and adoption, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and resistance management plans

 

  • Lead stakeholder analysis and engagement, tailoring approaches for different groups (e.g., academic staff, professional services, leadership, students)

 

  • Work closely with communication specialist to design and execute change communications that align with transformation goals and resonate with diverse audiences.

 

  • In charge of building a change-capable culture, including developing internal change agents or champions.

3. As a part of the strategy implementation team, the incumbent is also expected to provide transformation program support:

  • Partner with program leads, PMO, and senior stakeholders to align on OKRs, KPIs, and roadmaps.

  • Track progress and feedback loops across transformation streams; adjust strategies as needed.

  • Serve as an internal consultant to support business units in solving complex transformation challenges using agile and design approaches.

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in agile coaching, transformation consulting, change management, or innovation roles.

  • Proven track record in driving large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs.

  • Deep understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean) and change management approaches.

 

  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders from frontline to C-suite.

  • Exceptional storytelling, visualization, and influencing capabilities.

  • Certification(s) such as PMI-ACP, ICP-ACC, CSM, SAFe Agilist preferred.
