Marketing Executive
The Marketing Executive role focuses on social media, content creation, visual storytelling, and on-site marketing support to strengthen brand presence and community engagement.


Content & Social Media Management
 Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement across relevant platforms.
 Write engaging, on-brand copy for social media posts, captions, EDMs, and marketing communications.
 Generate creative content ideas that support school activities, campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
 Coordinate and manage social media coverage of school activities, classroom moments, and key events.
 Work closely with teachers, staff, and the wider school community to proactively identify timely and relevant content opportunities.
 Ensure content displayed on school TVs and digital screens is current, relevant, and aligned with ongoing campaigns and school activities.
 Monitor competitor digital and social media activity to stay informed on content trends, formats, and engagement approaches.
 Prepare regular social media performance reports, tracking content output and engagement metrics to support ongoing content optimisation.

Visual Content Production (Photography & Videography)
 Capture high-quality photos and videos for marketing, communications, and internal use.
 Coordinate and support the school’s annual marketing photography requirements.
 Provide photo and videography coverage for school events, campaigns, and marketing activities.
 Organise, archive, and manage visual assets for easy access and future use.


Digital Communications & Campaign Support

 Support the creation and scheduling of EDMs and enquiry-nurturing content to maintain consistent communication with prospective parents.
 Assist in tracking engagement and providing insights to support enquiry quality and campaign effectiveness. 
 Support the development of creative assets for paid digital advertising campaigns.

Events & Engagement Support

 Support marketing and school events such as Open Weeks, exhibitions, and engagement activities through content creation, live social media coverage, and post-event materials.
 Provide on-ground support during events, including photography, videography, and content updates as needed.
 Ensure content displayed on school TVs and digital screens is current, relevant, and aligned with ongoing campaigns and school activities.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

 Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
 2–3 years of experience in marketing communications, social media, or content-related roles (experience in the education sector is an advantage).
 
COMPETENCIES
 Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital storytelling.
 People-oriented and comfortable working closely with teachers, students, and staff.
 Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency will be a strong added advantage.
 Comfortable using social media platforms, basic analytics, and content management tools.
 Basic understanding of digital marketing and paid advertising creatives is an advantage.
 Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational skills.
 Proactive, organised, and collaborative with a positive work attitude.
 Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and ability to use Microsoft Office Applications, video editing software and excellent knowledge of social media channels.
 Strong work ethic and possess the drive to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.
