Admissions Executive
The Admissions Executive represents the School to prospective parents, students and other individuals or organizations involved in the School selection process. He/She is responsible to provide information, advice, and guidance on admission requirements. In addition, he/she is also responsible for the various functions in carrying out effective admission duties.
KEY RESULT AREAS/RESPONSIBILITES
To handle all enquiries via telephone and walk in from parents and potential parents.
To collect and record required information into the student management system.
To supervise and manage all matters pertaining immigration reports for MoE and KDN
To supervise and manage matters pertaining to the validity of travelling documents and of residency in Malaysia with parents.
To assist in uploading the valid document in student management system
To handle correspondences and procedure pertaining to students’ admissions, students’ withdrawal and parents’ enquiries
To prepare and submit weekly and monthly student enrolment reports to the Principal, HOS and School Management
To be back up person to manage placement tests, data entry and maintaining the admissions email.
To assist in any other matters required by the Admissions Manager and Principal
JOB SPECIFICATION
● Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent
RELATED EXPERIENCE
● Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the education industry
● Experience working in a school environment is an added advantage
● Possess good command of spoken and written in Mandarin
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
● Knowledge of and skills in using computer software e.g. Microsoft software applications
● Knowledge of customer service principles, techniques and standards
● Ability to analyse and interpret the needs of students and offer appropriate solutions
● Ability to work with minimal supervision
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate comfortably
with students and parents in a courteous and professional manner
● Possess a good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin
● Possess good planning, organising, coordinating, presentation and time management skills
● Creative, resourceful, customer focused, self motivated and results oriented
