ICT Executive

Taylor's International School (Puchong) Sdn Bhd



The ICT – Executive (Application) is responsible for the operation, administration and strategic development of the company’s ICT application automation and integration with system and infrastructure, including internal built application, application from other vendors/suppliers, networks, servers, email and network security systems. This function includes the management of ICT personnel, and the professional support of academic and administration staff.



  • Advise on the strategic application development of ICT in the school.
  • Management and leadership of ICT personnel (Application Team).
  • Assist academic staff to integrate applications in the curriculum.
  • Manage ICT application support staff and supervise the team’s daily operations.
  • Manage the coordination of ICT application support staff duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of ICT application support to the whole school.
  • Allocate tasks for the ICT application team, and to monitor attendance and leave for the team.
  • Plan and execute programs and activities according to the ICT Strategy Plan.
  • Advise the School and ICT team members about ICT application procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise for data management for key areas identified by the school.
  • Conduct ICT briefing/training of new programs/systems for teachers and other staff.
  • Assist the ICT Manager in handling various ICT improvement/upgrade projects in the school.



Software & Application


  • To maintain all ICT-related software and application, and processes in the School’s ICT environment.
  • To provide 1st level application, system, network troubleshooting and support.
  • To provide 2nd level application troubleshooting and support.
  • To act as liaison with external vendor/supplier to perform 3rd level application troubleshooting and support.
  • Software and Application troubleshooting and support which including but not limited to the following:
    • Academic Software.
    • Double First – Engage.
    • Softlink – Oliver (Library System).
    • Google related products.
    • Microsoft related products.
    • CALMS – Cashless solution and etc.
    • OTRS/CMMS – Ticketing System.
    • Web Application, web site integration.
    • TEG – HRSS, AccPac, eLeave, etc.
    • TEG – Financial Data Warehouse automation and integration.
    • Automated and integrated application interface/system.
    • Etc.
  • To maintain the systems operations (Window, Unix, Chrome OSX and iOS).
  • To liaise with users, consultants and vendors so as to provide the relevant ICT application solutions required by the School.
  • To ensure compliance of statutory regulations such as software licensing and copyrights.
  • To establish both manual and electronic documentation relating to software and application.
  • To develop documentation and procedures on usage of software and application.
  • Enhance systems and application software, where relevant.




  • To provide user training for both administration and academic staff.




  • To attend to any other matters as and when requested by the ICT Manager from time to time.



Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Studies/Information Technology or equivalent.



  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in an educational organization.
  • At least 3 years working experience relevant with SQL and/or database programming and reporting.
  • Preferable 2 years team lead experience.



  • Good in computer skills including the ability to teach and guide office staff to operate Microsoft Office (Word,Excel,PowerPoint, etc) at a highly proficient level.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem solving.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.

  • Exhibit good time management skills.
  • Sound interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient and helpful manner, to communicate effectively with users of all abilities.
