Executive - Alumni and Community Engagement

JOB PURPOSE

The Executive will work closely with the Assistant Manager of Alumni and Community Engagement, to develop and implement communication and engagement strategies to strengthen the global rankings and grow the alumni network of the University.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To create effective engagement initiatives (events, activities and channels) to drive membership sign-ups and grow the alumni network
  • To support in the outreach and relationship-building strategies (through events and activities) that seeks to build a robust pool of committed ambassadors and champions supporting the University Alumni and Ranking’s initiatives
  • To represent the University interests in Alumni and Rankings forums, meetings or gatherings, that contributes to the overall effectiveness of the University
  • To expand the Alumni membership benefits and create educational/promotional/awareness campaigns
  • To create, prepare and develop Alumni & Taylor’s-QS Rankings contents including (but not limited to) text, video and multimedia
  • To support and maintain effective internal and external engagement channels, in order to timely engage the Institution’s Alumni and QS Rankings stakeholders and community
  • To assist in maintaining the policies, compliance, procedures, and practices to guide the University on matters related to community engagement for Alumni and University Rankings.
  • To support internal and external communication within and beyond the University related to Alumni and University Rankings matters.
  • To support the coordination and interaction with other agencies or institutions as needed, regarding University Alumni and Rankings matters and related policy initiatives
  • To provide support as central coordinator and key liaison, and work very closely with various stakeholders across different levels, chapters and countries in the University Alumni community, from ideation/conception, to execution/implementation.
  • To support the Asst Manager to coordinate with key stakeholders within and beyond the University through effective engagement strategies and contents.
  • To manage and upkeep to-date the administration of the alumni database including membership, records, compliance reports and activities

 

MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline/field

 

RELATED EXPERIENCE

At least 1 year working experience in a related field will be advantageous. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. Experience of managing, coordinating and overseeing the implementation of plans through working in collaboration with others will be added advantage.
