Job-holder is responsible to work with Marketing and Admissions to implement sales and marketing strategies to increase awareness and build student enrolments for the various educational entities under Nexus International School.

He/she also acts as the liaison point between the prospective customers and stakeholders.



  • Daily family visits around the school to help with their transition into the school and Singapore in general.  Ability to lend an empathetic ear to the stresses of relocating and being faced with the competitive school market.  Help the family navigate all this to choose the most suitable school environment for their family
  • Follow up with all the applications and ensuring full documentations are received and fees are paid.
  • Making sure the confirmed parents and students are prepared for the start of school and informing the relevant departments of the student SOC date.
  • Proper documentation of students file and data entry into the student database management system
  • Work alongside the Marketing Dept to implement sales and marketing strategies to ensure healthy student recruitment
  • Identify new recruitment agents in assigned countries and developing new markets in collaboration with the agents to achieve the set target
  • Organising and participating in marketing events (local and overseas) to promote the school and obtaining databases and applications
  • Conduct general office duties
  • Prepare, issue, and deliver sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programmes
  • Work within established admissions related expenses budget for NISS



Our day starts early as the learners arrive on campus just after 8am and our team need to assist with front of house duties, accompanying potential learners to trial day classes and getting materials ready for our meetings later in the day.  We answer some of the enquiry emails coming through from the website and follow up with families queries and questions as part of the onboarding process.  


We have meetings with potential families to tour them around the school and share the Nexus Way with them.  We have conversations with families about the curriculum, academic results, nationality breakdown and immigration.


I receive an application form and supporting documents and need to input the information into our Student Management System and set up/administer admissions testing.  Later I need to generate the results and pass the application through to SLT for approval.  


I attend department meetings to assist in reviewing the daily running of the school.  I assist in a CCA, getting to know the learners and community better and providing a bit of well-being for my work-life balance. At peak times of the year for Admissions I am required for activities such as student recruitment fairs, orientation and Open days.  It’s always exciting meeting the future families of Nexus and ensuring the best choice of school is made to suit the learner.



  • Minimum high-school (twelve (12) formal years of education) qualification
  • Bachelor degree qualification is preferred
  • Experience in an international school environment (preferred)
  • At least three (3) years of relevant working experience
  • At least two (2) years of relevant sales and/or marketing experience
  • Working experience in the education industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of the various educational programmes and system is preferred
  • Possess good IT skills and knowledge, for example proficient in Microsoft (MS) Applications such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word
  • A demonstrated and genuine liking and appreciation of children
