Admissions Executive, TIS Puchong

The Admissions Executive is responsible to oversee all matters pertaining to student admissions and records for the school. She will also be able to give advice, guidance and counselling to prospective parents for enrollment of their children in the school. She is responsible for the smooth running of the daily operations and administration of the admission office.



  • Ensure that all applications are complete with relevant documents as per the Admission Procedure and follow up with the parents for missing information/documents. Application form must be signed by the parent(s) upon submission.
  • Ensure that student’s data is keyed-in into the system on the same day application is received.
  • Ensure students’ application forms and documents are properly filed within the next working day after application is received.
  • Prepare student’s file and arrange student for Entrance Assessment within 2 working days after receiving application forms. Follow-up on approval and prepare Offer letters to inform parents within 2 working days after assessment/interview as per Admission Procedure.
  • Contact parents to follow-up on registration which forms a crucial task in conversion from offer to registration stage.
  • Arrange and coordinate Orientation programme for new students before the commencement of a new term.
  • Coordinating Open Week trial class with parents and teachers to ensure all potential students have a chance to attend a trial class to increase conversion.
  • Maintain a systematic filing system both electronic and hard copy for audit purposes.
  • Attend to enquiries from potential parents who walk-in, call-in, email, post via website, facebook or any online channels.
  • Maintain data of prospective students collected from written enquiries (by post or online), walk-in, phone-in, electronic mail and data collected during institutional visits, talks, education fairs, Open Days and to conduct follow up customer service.
  • Maintain an updated record of discount entitlements and fee deposits collected.
  • Handle all correspondence pertaining to admissions and students withdrawal.
  • Prepare reports on student enrolments and admissions matters.
  • Prepare class lists for Head of School.
  • Maintain list of students subscribing to Meal programme and After-school care services.
  • Prepare documents required for students leaving the School.
  • Compile and assist in student services:

           a) Immigration matters – application and extension of student visa.
           b) Maintain records of foreign students and visa validities.
           c) Prepare student’s and parents’ eCards as well as to provide support services to maintain and operate the Smart Card system.
           d) Provide information on transportation services.

  • Assist in coordinating activities and events related to student recruitment including preparation of checklist and liaison with the various stakeholders.
  • Participate in all major student recruitment activities which include, but may not be limited to, education fair representations, institutional visits, Open Days and special events organised to attract potential parents.
  • Undertake any other projects that may be assigned from time to time by the Admissions Manager and the Principal.



  • Minimum Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent or
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the education industry.
  • Experience working in a school environment is an added advantage.



  • Knowledge of and skills in using computer software e.g. Microsoft software applications.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles, techniques and standards.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of students and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate comfortably with students and parents in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Possess a good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin.
  • Possess good planning, organizing, coordinating, presentation and time management skills.
  • Creative, resourceful, customer focused, self-motivated and results oriented.
