JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Senior Executive / Executive will work in one of the busiest and most dynamic teams within the school. The Marketing team works closely together and are passionate in putting ideas forward and watching their projects flourish. Team members are expected to be innovative, collaborative and creative. You must be supportive and helpful, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
The Nexus School environment requires you to be highly flexible and adaptive to meet the demands of the business. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist in assessing reports from SEO/SEM Agency (an understanding of SEO/SEM advantageous)
- Contribute to, and help develop, marketing plans and strategies
- Assisting in creating a weekly whole school newsletter.
- Write & review communications to various stakeholders
- Assisting with Social Media on all channels for the school, this includes creating creative assets, videos, campaigns and reports
- Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
- Managing supplier relationships
- Be able to work within a budget
- Website updates and changes
- Ability to deal with ad hoc requests in a timely manner
- Assist in managing the design and production of marketing collaterals and materials
- Maintaining and updating administrative databases and marketing plans
- Attending events such as conferences, seminars, networking sessions, exhibitions etc, when needed
- Assist in sourcing and securing sponsorship/partnership opportunities
- Assist in conducting market research
- Evaluating marketing campaigns
- Monitor competitor activity
- Support the Marketing Manager and other colleagues, including the admissions and enrolments team
- Prepare and deliver business review presentations as appropriate
- Involvement in whole school events and activities as required.
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the management, stakeholders and reporting manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- A minimum diploma/degree in Marketing/Business Communications/Public Relations
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and knowledge of online and digital media placement, spend, analysis, SEM and SEO
- Excellent written and oral communication and oral presentation skills
- Significant marketing/public relations/event management experience
- Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge an advantage
- Knowledge of CMS systems
- A high command of the English language
- Be highly creative
- Be able to be self-motivated
- Have a passion for marketing and social media
- An eye for detail
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines
- Good IT skills and knowledge – for example, proficient in Mac and Microsoft applications
- A demonstrated and genuine liking and appreciation of children
- Excellent financial analytical skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and embrace the company’s corporate philosophy
- Excellent and established leadership and organizational skills
- Professional and flexible attitude towards change and continuous improvement is essential
- Good sense of humour
- An understanding of the needs and demands of all stakeholders.
